We have been our Client’s eyes and hands into the water for over 50 years, you can trust our experience, our people, our organisation.
We can assist you in complex projects and take full responsibility on critical packages to help you to reach your goals.

Our diving personnel are qualified in accordance with UK HSE “List of approved qualifications” or hold a professional qualification issued by a nationally recognized institute. In particular:

all Diving Supervisors and Life Support Technicians are qualified according to the IMCA D 013 certification scheme
all divers are trained in First Aid at Work and at least two team members, who do not dive together, are trained as Diver Medic Technician, in accordance with IMCA Guidance Note D 014 “International Code of Practice for Offshore Diving”
all the offshore personnel also have an offshore survival certificate in compliance with STCW and/or OPITO (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training)
the maintenance and operation of equipment and systems is carried out only by Dive Technicians, duly trained and qualified.

We endeavour to study and prepare all projects going through all the tasks step by step, in order to ensure that all contingency cases are covered.
Behind the offshore scene, in the back-up offices there is an accurate preparation of working procedures, risk assessment, selection of personnel and equipment, continuous training.

We are convinced that a good on-shore project preparation can save a lot of time (and money) when offshore and is key for a smooth project execution.

Long experience but fresh people on board

Our CEO Alessandro Buffa is bringing fresh air within our long-established organisation.

Alessandro is a Naval Architect and Mechanical Engineer who has converted his love of the sea and anything mechanical into a career in the offshore industry.

He started his career in SBM Offshore in Monaco, firstly as a Project Engineer and subsequently as Sales and Proposal Lead. He then joined Rana Group where he worked his way up through offshore projects, managing Rana Congo, leading the sales department and finally being appointed as CEO. He now spends most of his time between Monaco, Pointe Noire, Rotterdam and wherever the clients and operations are.

Alessandro holds a Bachelor degree in Naval and Marine Engineering magna cum laude from the University of Genoa and a Master of Science in Advanced Mechanical Engineering with Distinction from Imperial College London, where he was awarded best student of the year.

Before university, Alessandro represented Italy in the Laser and 470 Class of sailing for several years and now continues to nurture his passion for sailing whenever he can carve out some time for racing with his friends.
